To support the development of methodologies and technical documents in the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) Program, a remote contract position for a Technical Editor / Writer will provide technical editing support, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and user-friendly comprehension of complex concepts.
Key responsibilities:
Perform accurate technical and copy editing of documents, incorporating tracked changes and comments
Ensure internal consistency in technical concepts and writing voice across edited documents
Revise text to align with Verra's style guidelines, enhancing clarity and comprehension of technical content
Required qualifications:
Experience in technical content and language editing
Strong science background and technical expertise related to Verra programs
Degree in a relevant field; advanced degree is advantageous
Native English proficiency with an excellent eye for detail
Proven ability to communicate technical information effectively to diverse stakeholders
