Starkmedia, Inc.

is hiring a Web Designer to support multiple web projects from our

Milwaukee, WI office (onsite) . This role focuses on creating responsive, standards-compliant websites and reusable design layouts/templates, with the flexibility to work either alongside a team or independently while meeting deadlines.
What you’ll do

Partner with Project Managers to create

wireframes , design

layouts , and

templates .
Support

multiple projects at once , while maintaining the discipline to manage work independently and deliver on schedule.
Contribute effectively in a

team environment

and also as a

sole contributor

with little or no supervision.
Use

excellent written and oral communication

skills to collaborate and keep work moving.
What you bring

Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript .
Ability to

create responsive and standards-compliant websites

using these technologies.
Proficiency with design tools , including the

Adobe Creative Suite .
Knowledge of UX principles

to inform layout and design decisions.
Knowledge of current design trends .
Willingness to continuously learn and improve

across these areas.
Nice fit if you have

2-3 years

of related professional experience as a web designer.
A

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or Web Design .
