Senior Frontend DeveloperWe are seeking a senior frontend developer to join a team building and enhancing a modern headless digital platform. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who is passionate about creating scalable, high-performance web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and frontend best practices.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, along with experience working in headless architecture environments. This individual will contribute as a hands-on developer while also providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScriptBuild reusable components, custom hooks, and scalable frontend architecturesIntegrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend servicesCollaborate with UI/UX teams to translate designs into high-quality user experiencesEnsure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design standardsProject Setup & ArchitectureConfigure and maintain modern frontend applications built with Next.jsImplement Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)Establish and support CI/CD pipelines and development workflowsPromote frontend engineering best practices and coding standardsPerformance, Security & OptimizationOptimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, caching strategies, and other modern techniquesImprove SEO through effective rendering strategies and frontend optimizationImplement security best practices and content security standardsMonitor and improve frontend reliability, accessibility, and user experienceTesting & Quality AssuranceWrite and maintain unit tests using Jest and related testing frameworksSupport end-to-end testing initiativesParticipate in code reviews and technical design discussionsEnsure high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented codeTeam CollaborationWork closely with backend engineers, architects, product owners, and designersMentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidanceContribute to Agile ceremonies and collaborative planning activitiesTake ownership of features and drive projects through completionRequired Qualifications8+ years of professional frontend development experienceStrong experience with Next.js and ReactAdvanced proficiency with TypeScriptExperience building applications in headless architecture environmentsStrong understanding of SSR, SSG, and ISR conceptsExperience integrating frontend applications with APIs and backend servicesExperience with modern CI/CD pipelines and development practicesHands-on experience with Jest and automated testingStrong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniquesExperience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with headless CMS platformsExperience working with Sitecore JSS or similar technologiesFamiliarity with GraphQLExperience with SCSS and modern styling frameworksExperience implementing Content Security Policies (CSP)Experience with SEO optimization strategies for modern web applicationsWhat Makes You SuccessfulAbility to work independently and take ownership of deliverablesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsComfortable mentoring and supporting junior developersAbility to thrive in a fast-paced Agile development environmentPassion for modern web technologies and continuous learning
