Corpus Christi Parish seeks a faith-filled and experienced Director of Liturgy & Music to lead and coordinate the liturgical and musical life of our vibrant, multi-site Catholic parish community. Serving the churches of St. John Neumann, St. Joseph, St. Mary, and St. William, the Director of Liturgy & Music is responsible for ensuring that all liturgical celebrations are prayerful, reverent, beautiful, and in full accord with the traditions, teachings, and liturgical norms of the Roman Catholic Church. This position works collaboratively with clergy, staff, commissions, volunteers, and parishioners to foster meaningful worship experiences that deepen participation in the sacramental life of the Church and inspire growth in faith.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of Catholic liturgical practices, the liturgical year, and the rituals of the Roman Catholic Church, along with comprehensive knowledge of sacred music, including traditional hymnody and contemporary sacred repertoire. A bachelor's degree in liturgical music or an equivalent field is preferred. Proficiency in at least one musical instrument, preferably piano or organ, strong vocal abilities, and experience directing choirs, cantors, and instrumentalists are essential. The Director must demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, communication, and pastoral skills and be comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and digital communication platforms.
