Business Development Manager - All Inclusive & Resort | Full-Time | Travel Dallas-Fort Worth, United States
The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a global hospitalityleader in to identify an experienced All inclusive & Resort BusinessDevelopment Manager for growing awareness, engagement and advocacy for aportfolio of all-inclusve and resort properties across wholesale partners andtravel advisors throughout Texas.
Reporting to the Senior Leisure Business DevelopmentManager, you'll translate each property's unique experiences, amenities, andbrand differentiators into compelling, easy-to-sell messaging that empowerstravel professionals to confidently recommend the portfolio.
You'll build and manage strategic relationships withwholesalers and front-line travel agents, positioning the portfolio as apreferred choice in fly-to vacation markets. Through a mix of in-person andvirtual sales calls, training, joint marketing initiatives, trade shows,events, and targeted account planning, you'll drive new business opportunitiesand strengthen relationships across key travel distribution channels.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you'llensure consistent portfolio representation, alignment with commercial priorities, and successful execution of regional sales strategies.
What You’ll Do Business Development Responsibilities Support revenue growth through strategicpartnerships with wholesale partners and travel agents
Build and maintain strong relationshipswith wholesale partners, travel agents, and key stakeholders
Represent the portfolio through salescalls, webinars, training, FAM trips, and industry events
Plan and execute joint salesinitiatives, agency visits, educational sessions, and promotional activities
Deliver tailored sales presentations andmarketing materials to increase partner engagement and sales
Expand advisor reach by engaging travelagents through sales calls, training, and events
Communicate property features, branddifferentiators, and resort experiences into compelling sales messages
Deliver product education on key sellingpoints, guest profiles, and the organization’s value proposition to traveladvisors
Ensure product messaging is accurate,relevant, and competitive across all partner channels
Develop sales tools and supportingmaterials that strengthen product knowledge and enhance advisor confidence
Administrative Responsibilities Maintain accurate Salesforce records forsales activities and partner interactions
Maintain an up-to-date Outlook calendarfor meetings, sales calls, events, and travel
Manage expenses and submit requireddocumentation on time
Participate in meetings, conferencecalls, and internal forums professionally
Collaborate with internal teams tosupport territory and business objectives
Work flexible hours and supportadditional business needs as required
Analytical & Commercial Responsibilities Analyzewholesaler and travel-agent accounts to identify opportunities andprioritize high-potential relationships
Developdata-driven agency sales strategies to guide call planning, content, andengagement
Segmentand prioritize wholesalers and travel agents based on performance, marketopportunity, brand alignment, and growth potential
Tailorpresentations and messaging using data insights
Reviewaccount performance trends to identify growth drivers, challenges, and newbusiness opportunities
Usemarket insights, advisor feedback, and account knowledge to refinepositioning and messaging for organization’s all-inclusive and resortportfolio to understand recommend and sell
Personal Presentation / Other Maintaina professional appearance in line with company’s brand standards
Storesales collateral and equipment securely and accessibly for fieldactivities
Followcompany policies for the use and care of company-issued equipment
Ensurevehicles are clean, organized, and representative of company’s professionalstandards during business travel and sales appointments
What We Are Looking For Experience 3–5years of hospitality or travel industry sales experience
Experiencedelivering engaging training and educational sessions
Establishednetwork of travel advisors, host agencies, consortia, and wholesalepartners in Texas and the Southwest
Additional Skills & Attributes Knowledgeof the Mexico and Caribbean all-inclusive resort market and competitivelandscape
Proficiencywith CRM systems, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
Provenability to represent a portfolio of all-inclusive and resort properties
Excellentpresentation, verbal/written communication, storytelling and consultativeselling skills
Highproduct knowledge with strong attention to detail
Strongrelationship-building, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Strongplanning, organization, and territory management skills
Commercialmindset, prioritization, professionalism and accountability
Abilityto work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Approximately40% travel, primarily throughout Texas
Occasionalout-of-state travel, including Mexico and the Caribbean, as needed
What You Can Expect Annual base salary of + Up to10% performance-based bonus
