Associate Account & Content Coordinator Reports To: Content Marketing Manager Classification: Full Time Work Environment: Primarily Remote Position Summary The Associate Account & Content Coordinator provides administrative, project coordination, and social media support to the company’s Accounts and Content teams.
This full-time position helps keep client projects organized, accurate, and on schedule. Responsibilities include maintaining project records, coordinating materials and deadlines, assisting with co-op advertising programs, and developing and scheduling approved social media content.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple assignments in a collaborative agency environment. Strategic decisions, senior client communication, and final approvals remain with the Accounts team, Content Marketing Manager, and agency leadership.
Essential ResponsibilitiesAccount and Project Coordination Provide day-to-day administrative and project support to the Accounts and Content teams.
Open and update projects, organize Google Drive folders, maintain copy documents, and track deadlines and approvals.
Keep internal project and traffic reports accurate and current.
Coordinate routine project information, materials, and timelines with clients, vendors, and internal departments.
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, record action items, and draft follow-up notes.
Gather client sales figures, invoices, marketing assets, and other information requested by the Accounts team.
Proofread client materials for spelling, dates, pricing, links, promotional details, brand and overall accuracy.
Promptly communicate missing information, delays, publishing problems, or project concerns to the appropriate manager.
Content and Social Media Support Assist in creating and maintaining monthly social media calendars for assigned clients.
Gather content from clients, websites, designers, vendors, promotions, stock libraries, and approved evergreen sources according to established schedules.
Draft captions, calls to action, links, tags, and hashtags based on established client strategies and brand guidelines.
Revise content based on manager feedback and prepare approved posts for scheduling.
Upload and schedule approved organic social media content using designated platforms per monthly schedules.
Verify that posts, links, images, dates, and promotional information are accurate.
Assist with event-related posts, recurring social media updates, and routine paid-social maintenance.
Monitor publishing issues and complete basic troubleshooting before escalating more complex concerns.
Co-Op Advertising Support Lead the administration of client and vendor co-op advertising programs.
Maintain co-op calendars, trackers, deadlines, and organized program records.
Collect invoices, creative materials, screenshots, reports, and proof-of-performance documentation.
Help prepare co-op plans, approval requests, reimbursement submissions, and status updates.
Follow up internally on missing or incomplete documentation.
Team and Department Support Work collaboratively with account, content, creative, digital, media, and social media team members.
Maintain organized client reference materials, including brand guidelines, content preferences, recurring campaigns, and account requirements.
Assist with documenting departmental procedures, checklists, training materials, and client-specific instructions.
Stay informed about social media practices, marketing trends, and developments within the jewelry industry.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business, or a related field preferred. Relevant internship or work experience may be considered in place of a degree.
Practical experience in marketing, social media, account support, project coordination, or administrative work.
Strong written communication, proofreading, and organizational skills.
Obsessive attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage recurring deadlines and multiple projects.
Professional and responsive communication skills.
Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and follow established processes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Familiarity with Google Workspace and major social media platforms.
Experience with project-management or social media scheduling software is helpful but not required.
Work Environment and Schedule This is primarily a remote position involving regular communication through email, phone, text, and virtual meetings. Standard business hours are generally 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Occasional schedule flexibility or travel may be required for client needs, deadlines, meetings, or industry events.
