Leading a world-class animation team, the full-time Animation Director will define and drive the animation vision for high-quality player experiences in San Mateo, California, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish animation standards and workflows.
Key responsibilities

Define and champion the overall animation vision, quality bar, and creative direction for projects
Lead, mentor, and develop animation team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
Collaborate with various teams to ensure animation supports gameplay, storytelling, and player immersion objectives

Required qualifications

12+ years of professional animation experience in game development with significant leadership experience
Proven experience leading animation teams through the development and delivery of AAA titles
Deep understanding of animation principles, character performance, and motion capture pipelines
Strong expertise with Maya and modern animation workflows
Demonstrated ability to establish creative vision and execute against it through direct and indirect leadership
