Student Marketing DirectorThe Student Marketing Director is responsible for driving high touch engagement and communications with our students, partners, and the University. In this role, you will execute a marketing plan, including social media and recruitment, and help oversee creative endeavors for the Office of Entrepreneurship & Innovation and McMillon Innovation Studio. This role supports the OEI marketing team, and reports to the Marketing & Creative Design Manager. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Current Enrollment at The University of ArkansasMinimum GPA of 3.0Experience demonstrating ability to plan and implement communication and engagement plans with proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines and operate in a team-oriented environmentWell-versed in social media and content strategyVideo/photography experienceProficient in social media content creationGreat communication skills (written and verbal)Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skillsPreferred Qualifications:Prior role with Office of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programs (McMillon Studio Project/Product Lead, Venture Intern, Participant in Side Hustle Hub or Student Business Incubator)Demonstrate creative work with a passion for excellence, attention to detail, and outstanding organizationGeneral graphic design capabilitiesProficiency in Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut and / or other creative platforms.Innovative problem solver and ability to work within strict timelinesFlexibility to have a presence at OEI and McMillon events throughout the semesterExperience coordinating and managing eventsAbility to be flexible and open to feedbackPursuing Bachelor's degree one of the following related fields: Graphic Design, Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or CommunicationsSalary Information: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour.
