Akkodis is seeking a Video Editor / Content Operations for a contract role with a client in NY.


Location: NY - Hudson Yards (3 Days Onsite)

Duration: 7-month contract + Possible Extension

Pay Range: $38-$40 per hour on a W2. The rate may be negotiable based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant considerations.


What We Do/Project

The Temp Coordinator will be responsible for managing HDR and localization backfill projects, ensuring that library-branded original programming IMF packages are re-wrapped, validated, and uploaded for storage in Keystone, our global content management system, to facilitate distribution to global HBO Max streaming platforms and other licensing partners.


Job Responsibilities / Typical Day in the Role

Content Processing Operations

• Manage and monitor re-wrap of IMF packages utilizing transcoding toolset.

• Validate re-wrapped packages, manage queue for validation and/ or spot checks.

• Manage queue to upload re-wrapped packages to Keystone content management system.

• Create Keystone work orders and manage migration of audio and subtitle files from storage server to Keystone content management system

Administration and Tracking

• Track and report weekly progress and status of IMF, dub, and subtitle backfill queues.


Must Have Skills / Requirements

1) Experience within a hands-on technical role in a fast-paced environment

a. 1+ years; Project Management experience. Managing multiple deadlines and projects.

2) Understanding technical specifications within television technology generally (Familiarity with file formats and metadata)

a. 1+ years.

3) Database management

a. 1+ years; Ability to manage and action a tracker.


Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

1) Experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, Colorfront Transkoder, or other editing tools a plus


Soft Skills:

1) Quick problem solver, team player, good time management skills

2) Organized and attentive to detail


Technology Requirements:

1) Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as various collaboration tools and apps (E.g., Google Drive Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Airtable, Slack)

2) Understanding technical specifications within television technology generally (Familiarity with file formats and metadata.


Education / Certifications

1) BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience


Interview Process / Next Steps

1) 1st round panel interview with Sr Manager Content QC and Director (Hiring Manager)

2) 2nd round: separate Sr Manager.


Additional Notes

• Sourcing in NY - Hudson Yards.

• Hybrid on-site requirements. 2-3 days/week (flexible schedule).
