Social Media Content Creator

Truly Beauty is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our team and help bring our visual storytelling to life. You’ll be a part of our dynamic and viral social team focusing on helping to plan, produce, star in, and deliver social-first content that drives engagement and showcases the Truly brand in a fresh, inspiring way.

What You’ll Do:

Develop and execute creative concepts for our social channels to support product launches, seasonal campaigns, and normal daily content needs.

Assist in planning, organizing, and supporting content shoots, including helping set up studio spaces, coordinating props and products, and providing on-set support for Meta/Youtube/TikTok Ads

Organize and maintain content libraries, ensuring assets from shoots are saved, labeled, and shared with the team

Draft captions and schedule posts to support daily content publishing

Research and share regular trend reports to inspire new creative concepts

Ideate, film, and appear in TikTok content, including product demos, trending sounds, and storytelling videos

Work closely with the creative, marketing, and social teams to ensure content deadlines are met

Support post-production, including editing and resizing video and photo assets for multiple platforms

What You’ll Need:

Previous experience creating content as part of an in-house social media or creative team

A keen eye for aesthetics and the ability to create content that aligns with Truly’s style and voice

Proficiency with design and editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, Canva, etc.)

Strong understanding of social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok

Willingness to be on camera and create video content featuring yourself when needed

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

A collaborative mindset and comfort working closely with cross-functional teams

Flexibility to react to current social media trends and adapt content accordingly

Must be available to work in our creative studio in Los Angeles at least 3 days per week. Light travel may be required

Bonus Points:

Experience planning or producing social-first video content (especially TikTok/Reels)

Experience with still photography

Passion for beauty, skincare, and content trends

The expected starting salary for this role is $69,000-$80,000 per year. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
