Key responsibilities
Report and write news reactions, columns, and analysis pieces on the WNBA and women's college basketball
Produce engaging feature stories for SI.com and the magazine on various sports topics
Coordinate with editors to anticipate news cycles and help build content calendars for coverage
Required qualifications
7+ years of sports journalism experience, preferably covering women's basketball
Deep knowledge of and a wide network in the women's basketball community
Strong news judgment and awareness of emerging trends
Ability to write clearly and quickly with a distinct style and voice
Mastery of social media as a news gathering tool and brand-building platform
