The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Internal Communications Strategist to join our Executive & Internal Communications team and support our internal communications and employee engagement efforts. In this vital role, you will be responsible for creating employee communications and engagement deliverables, as well as supporting our Enterprise Services leaders on their change transformation communications. You will manage multiple communications products at different stages of the planning process, while providing an exemplary attention to detail and outstanding customer service. The selected candidate will be required to work full-time on-site at our Technology Campus located in El Segundo, CA.
What You’ll Be Doing Develop and execute communications initiatives, with a special emphasis on supporting transformation efforts within our Enterprise Services organizations
Create clear and compelling communications deliverables, to include emails, intranet stories, websites and newsletters
Partner across our Corporate Communications creative teams (i.e. graphics, video) to create visual components to help tell stories
Leverage different channels to engage employees nationwide
What You Need to be Successful Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English or other related field
Three or more years of relevant internal communications, corporate communications and/or employee engagement experience
Outstanding writing and editing expertise, with a proven ability to tailor communications for executives, managers, or employees
Meticulous organizational skills paired with attention to detail, ensuring seamless project execution and operational excellence
Exceptional interpersonal acumen that fosters effective collaboration across internal and external teams with complex organizational structures
Experience with a content management platform (i..e SharePoint or WordPress)
How You Can Stand Out Proven experience in change management communications, adept at steering organizational transformations and managing crisis narratives with clarity and precision
Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
Proficiency with PoliteMail or other internal email metrics services
Knowledge within the aerospace and defense sector is strongly desired
We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business. The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills. (Min – Max) $67,000.00 – $126,900.00 Pay Basis: Annual
