If you've filmed sports, live events, weddings, concerts, theatre, or other fast-paced productions, we'll teach you everything you need to know.
Compensation and Benefits

Starting at $25/hour
Paid travel days
Flights, hotels, rental cars and travel expenses covered
Professional camera and livestream production equipment provided
Guaranteed minimum daily pay
Overtime after 40 hours/week

No video editing or post-production

What You'll Do

Travel to dance competitions throughout the United States
Operate professional camera and livestream production equipment
Capture high-quality performances
Set up and monitor camera and livestream systems
Upload and manage event media
Paid Training

Every new Camera Operator receives:
Virtual training during January
A minimum of two live training events with an experienced Senior Camera Operator
Hands-on instruction before working independently
You’ll never be sent to your first event without real-world training and support.
Requirements

Legally authorized to work in the United States (DanceBUG does not sponsor work visas)
Live within approximately one hour of a major airport
Valid U.S. driver's license
Available to travel Thursday through Monday during the season
Comfortable driving 5-6 hours when required
Comfortable with long production days and travel
Able to lift approximately 50 lbs
Able to pass a criminal background check
Experience in Any of the Following is Considered an Asset

Sports camera operation
Live event production
Wedding and event videography
Broadcasting
Concerts and theatre
Film production
Livestreaming (OBS)
Multi-camera switching
Jib operation
