Senior Communications SpecialistIndiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody excellence, compassion, teamwork, and purpose to join our System Health Solutions Marketing and Communications team in the role of Senior Communications Specialist.System Health Solutions (SHS) is a business unit focused on providing access to high quality, coordinated and affordable care, and improving the health and wellbeing of the communities IU Health serves. This role supports care through a diverse portfolio that includes ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care, virtual care, physical therapy, and other outpatient services that extend IU Health's reach beyond the hospital setting.Identifies and carries out internal Communications objectives. Collaborates with all layers of management to recommend and execute key Communications strategies. Partners with internal clients to assess communication needs on strategic projects, and devises comprehensive communications plans to inform, engage, and inspire team members. Creates compelling, action-driven messages and stories, provides direction for, and produces internal communications programs/projects in support of the overall communication strategy and key objectives. Leads the production of multiple communication vehicles, including writing, editing, formatting, and design of deliverables. Partners across the matrixed organization to drive Communications plans and deliverables.Reports to: Communications ManagerDirect Reports: NoneCandidate QualificationsBachelor's Degree required.Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or other related discipline required.3-5 years of experience.Experience with creative and well-rounded writing and editing required.Experience with designing and producing a variety of communication materials required.Requires proficiency in internal communications best practices.Experience exhibiting professional judgment and diplomacy in handling unexpected problems and frequent interruptions.Indiana University Health is unlike any other healthcare system and we're looking for team members who share the things that matter most to us.
