Part-Time Associate Producer/Technical Operator (Board Operator)CUMULUS MEDIA | PROVIDENCE is offering a great opportunity as a Part-Time Associate Producer/Technical Operator (Board Operator) providing programming and control console support. This position is primarily responsible for operating live sports broadcasts, while also supporting other local and syndicated programming. Our ideal candidate should be highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced media environment. The position requires extreme reliability and flexibility. If you are a fast-learner, have a good demeanor around others, and have a passion for sports and entertainment, read on.Key Responsibilities:Running the console in a radio station control room broadcasting live sports events, as well as a variety of live or pre-recorded local and syndicated entertainment programsPlaying all commercials as scheduled and maintaining a commercial and transmitter logMonitoring and updating weather, traffic, and news reports as neededMonitoring for EAS Alerts, Amber Alerts, and breaking newsMonitoring the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming from the master control roomCoordinating network and local commercial breaks during live sports broadcastsQualifications:Previous control console operation experience preferredAudio production skills preferredAbility to learn FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelinesProficient using computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Audition or other audio editing software preferredFamiliar with audio mixers preferredFlexibility in scheduling required; majority of the hours are in the evenings, weekends and holidaysPay Range: USD $16.00 - USD $16.00 /Hr.What We Offer:Competitive PayFocused, responsible and collaborative work environment with the ability to ask, "what if" and try innovative solutions401K with company match
