Part Time Graphic Design Consultant

What we offer Huxley & Kent is seeking a part‑time Graphic Design Consultant in Knoxville, TN. This flexible, contract‑based role offers hybrid work options, with an hourly rate of $25 to $45. You will contribute from concept through production on marketing materials, while enjoying the independence of a small, entrepreneurial team environment.
Responsibilities Assist in the design of new accessories, apparel, and gift products
Provide support to the head designer and marketing manager
Develop product concepts from initial design through production
Lead graphic design projects for brochures, catalogs, signage, sales decks, and marketing collateral
Prepare production‑ready artwork and specifications for factories, including pattern scale and color standards
Create PDF and PowerPoint product presentations and concepts
Review product samples and suggest improvements
Conduct product photography for brochures and catalogs
Maintain a searchable digital library of samples and tech packs
Requirements Experience in consumer product design and development
Graphic design proficiency
Ability to prepare production‑ready artwork and specifications
Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small, entrepreneurial team
Technologies PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications Pet industry experience
Textile or fabric pattern design
Product sourcing and manufacturing experience in China
Retail display design or visual merchandising
Packaging design
Photography or product rendering
