The Opportunity

We are looking for someone who knows how to find the story, capture the moment, and turn it into content people want to watch.

This is not a role for someone who only schedules posts, manages a calendar, or passes creative work to an agency. You will be the hands-on creator behind the digital presence of several growing brands; personally developing ideas, interviewing people, shooting footage, editing videos, writing copy, publishing content, and learning from what performs.

Our portfolio spans franchise investment and development, music education, and children’s art. One day, you may interview an entrepreneur about building a business. The next, you may film a six-year-old playing a song for the first time, capture the energy of an art-studio opening, or turn an unpolished conversation with one of our leaders into a compelling LinkedIn story.

The right person has creative instincts, strong judgment, a bias toward action, and enough range to make four distinct brands feel human, active, and impossible to ignore.

What you will own

Content Creation

  • Develop original concepts and recurring content series for each brand.
  • Personally shoot and edit high-quality short-form video, photography, interviews, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes content.
  • Turn ordinary business activity into interesting, emotionally resonant stories.
  • Produce platform-native Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn videos, carousels, photography, and written posts.
  • Maintain an organized, reusable library of video, photography, testimonials, and brand assets.

Social Media and Audience Growth

  • Own the content calendars and publishing cadence across the portfolio.
  • Prioritize the platforms that matter most to each audience rather than posting everywhere just for activity's sake.
  • Manage community engagement and identify opportunities to join relevant conversations.
  • Test hooks, formats, creative approaches, and publishing strategies to improve performance.
  • Monitor trends without letting every brand sound like it is chasing them.

Storytelling and Brand Voice

  • Establish a distinct voice, visual identity, and content strategy for each brand.
  • Interview executives, franchise owners, teachers, parents, students, and team members.
  • Translate complex business ideas into clear, interesting content.
  • Write concise, compelling copy ranging from professional and authoritative to playful, warm, and parent-focused.
  • Identify stories proactively rather than waiting for someone else to assign them.

Performance and Improvement

  • Track audience growth, engagement, reach, inquiries, traffic, and content-driven opportunities.
  • Deliver a concise monthly performance readout identifying what worked, what did not, and what should change.
  • Build repeatable content formats that can scale across locations and brands.
  • Collaborate with leadership, operating teams, franchise owners, and outside partners to support business priorities.

The Brands

Wheelhouse and General Franchise Concepts

  • Build authority and visibility among entrepreneurs, investors, franchisors, and business owners. Content will include founder perspectives, investment insights, franchise success stories, business transformations, events, and behind-the-scenes views of how brands are built and improved.
  • Primary channels: LinkedIn, Instagram, and selective long-form video.

Gramercy Music Academy

  • Capture the energy and emotion of learning music: student milestones, performances, teacher personalities, parent stories, community events, and the moments that make families proud.
  • Primary channels: Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Kidcreate Studio

  • Showcase the joyful, colorful, occasionally messy experience of children making art. Content will include classes, camps, parties, studio openings, franchise-owner stories, student creations, and the people building the brand across the country.
  • Primary channels: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and selective LinkedIn content.

What We Are Looking For

  • Two to five years of hands-on content creation, social media, videography, journalism, or related experience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong short-form video, photography, interviewing, storytelling, and copywriting.
  • The ability to personally take a piece of content from idea through shooting, editing, writing, and publication.
  • Strong proficiency with tools such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Photoshop, Lightroom, or comparable platforms.
  • Excellent writing and editorial judgment.
  • Comfort interviewing executives, entrepreneurs, teachers, parents, and children.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple brands, shoots, calendars, and deadlines.
  • A willingness to spend meaningful time in our Houston locations capturing real activity.
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-moving environment with limited bureaucracy.
  • Sound judgment regarding releases, privacy, consent, and safeguarding when creating content involving minors.

A four-year degree is not required. We care far more about the quality of your work, your creative judgment, and your ability to consistently produce.

You May Be a Great Fit If

  • You see content opportunities other people miss.
  • You can make polished work without requiring a large crew or elaborate production.
  • You understand the difference between content that looks good and content that earns attention.
  • You are comfortable receiving direct feedback and rapidly improving the work.
  • You are equally interested in business stories, human stories, and visually energetic consumer content.
  • You would rather make something, test it, and improve it than spend three weeks discussing the strategy.
  • You have strong opinions about what makes content effective—and can support those opinions with results.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will have:

  • Established a recognizable voice and consistent publishing rhythm for each brand.
  • Built several repeatable content franchises that audiences recognize and engage with.
  • Significantly increased the quality, personality, and consistency of our online presence.
  • Developed a growing library of high-quality original video, photography, testimonials, and stories.
  • Increased qualified audience growth and engagement on each brand’s priority platforms.
  • Created content that contributes to parent inquiries, student enrollment, franchise interest, business-development opportunities, and brand credibility.
  • Made our companies look and feel as interesting online as they are in real life.

Why Join Us?

You will have unusual creative range, direct access to company leadership, and a front-row seat to several growing businesses. You will not spend your days producing minor variations of the same corporate post.

You will have the freedom and responsibility to help determine how our brands show up in the world. If you are ambitious, resourceful, and exceptionally good at turning real people and real moments into compelling content, you will have plenty to work with here.
