Pendleton, SC . As a Color Quality Technician, you will support dye house operations by calculating dye formulas, reviewing batch records, evaluating dyed materials for color accuracy, and making quality decisions before products are released to finishing.

What We're Looking For:

Strong computer skills with the ability to learn specialized software and equipment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Comfort working with numbers, formulas, and basic calculations
Ability to analyze information and make independent decisions
Ability to compare products against established standards and specifications
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Safety-conscious approach to work
Ability to work a rotating schedule after completing training
Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, laboratory work, manufacturing, textiles, production, or a technical environment preferred
Experience using measurement or testing equipment preferred
Experience with color matching, dyeing, textiles, or fabric manufacturing preferred
Experience with spectrophotometers or similar testing equipment preferred
Experience using Excel, ERP systems, manufacturing software, or other computer-based production systems preferred
What You'll Do as a Color Quality Technician:

Pull and review dye batch records for scheduled dye sets and boil-outs
Calculate and verify formulas required for each dye set and boil-out
Review dyed sets to ensure color meets established quality standards
Visually compare fabric swatches against approved master standards
Use a

Datacolor spectrophotometer

to objectively evaluate and measure color
Approve or disapprove dyed sets based on visual and instrumental evaluations
Release approved sets to the finishing process and communicate issues involving sets that do not meet specifications
Accurately enter, review, and maintain information using computer systems
Analyze available information and make independent decisions regarding color quality
Collaborate with Dye Service and Dye House team members to resolve quality concerns and maintain production flow
Follow established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to dye batches and quality decisions
Identify inconsistencies or potential quality issues and communicate them promptly
Perform other duties as assigned to support the Dye Service department
