Mercor is hiring experienced Musicians to evaluate generative musical AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will assess model outputs across different categories of music in your bilingual language. Key responsibilities include evaluating AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards, scoring the quality of musical training data, and experience writing music in the domain language listed in the title. You should also be able to understand directions in the English language.
Ideal qualifications include experience working as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer for at least 3+ years, evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics, a college degree in music involving both performance, theory, and lyrics, past experience writing lyrical music in the domain language listed in the title, and native or near-native proficiency in both Portuguese and English.
Project timeline includes a start date of immediate, a duration of up to 6 months, and a commitment of part-time, 10+ hours per week.
