Blue Hill Troupe, a 100 year old nonprofit theatre troupe is looking for a stage director for its Spring 2027 production of The Mikado. The Blue Hill Troupe brings high-quality theater performances to New York City audiences while raising money for New York City charities. The stipend will be provided commensurate with experience. This is a new adaptation of The Mikado set in England and revised to fit contemporary sensibilities. Auditions are early December with production meetings beginning late November. Rehearsals, beginning in January will be held in midtown on weeknights and weekends. Performances are in mid April at a theatre in East Harlem.
