Healthcare IT / Integration Engineering Trenton, NJ (Local Candidates Only) Contract | Hybrid (3 Days/Week Onsite)

The Role
IT Impact Consulting is placing a Rhapsody Developer with a healthcare client in Trenton, NJ. The role focuses on building and maintaining healthcare integration workflows using Rhapsody, with deep knowledge of HL7, FHIR, and REST APIs. Local candidates only; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week onsite.

Why This Role

Design, develop, and maintain Rhapsody integration routes and message-transformation workflows

Build and troubleshoot HL7 v2 and FHIR R4 interfaces across clinical and administrative systems

Implement and maintain REST API integrations with EHR, lab, pharmacy, and ancillary systems

Collaborate with clinical informatics and IT teams to scope and deliver integration projects

Monitor interface performance and resolve issues in production healthcare environments

What You Bring

Hands-on experience developing and maintaining integration workflows in Rhapsody (Rhapsody Integration Engine)

Solid understanding of HL7 v2 message types (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, MDM) and FHIR R4 resources and APIs

Experience building and consuming REST APIs in a healthcare integration context

Familiarity with healthcare integration patterns: routing, filtering, transformation, acknowledgment handling

Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulatory requirements (HIPAA, 21st Century Cures Act) preferred

Local to Trenton, NJ — hybrid presence required (3 days/week onsite)
