As we grow, we're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to help lead the creative work that keeps our clients coming back.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our team onsite in Marion. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves great design and wants to help shape how a growing studio delivers it. You'll take ownership of client projects from concept to final delivery, mentor other designers on the team, and work closely with our Chief Design Officer to help set the creative bar for MDC's work.
What You'll Do
- Lead design work across brand identity, logo development, print, and digital projects
- Manage projects from kickoff through presentation and final delivery
- Present creative concepts directly to clients with confidence and clarity
- Provide creative direction and feedback to other designers on the team
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Design Officer on brand strategy and studio-wide creative standards
- Help maintain and evolve MDC's internal design systems and templates
- Stay sharp on design trends, tools, and best practices
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional graphic design experience
- A strong portfolio showing range across brand identity, logo design, and campaign work
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Familiarity with design thinking principles and process preferred
- Website design, Photography, and/or video skills a plus
- Experience presenting work directly to clients and taking projects from concept to completion
- Strong communication skills and comfort mentoring or directing junior designers
- Self-starter energy — someone who can own a project without needing constant oversight
- Open to a full-time role that includes at least half-time onsite work in the Marion/Grant County studio, with the remaining time available remotely.
