Sr. Specialist, Social Content ProducerThe Sr. Specialist, Social Content Producer helps build the social content engine by creating quick-turn, platform-native content; supporting recurring series and formats; and helping Qualcomm and Snapdragon show up with consistent, creative, social-first storytelling. The role sits within the Content function and partners closely with Strategy, Operations, agencies, creator partners, and creative studio resources.Key responsibilities:Content production:Produce short-form social video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Threads, and other priority platforms as needed.Capture footage at events, offices, product moments, internal shoots, and partner activations.Edit quick-turn content with strong hooks, pacing, captions, framing, and social-native packaging.Programming & series:Support recurring social series, formats, and content franchises across Qualcomm and Snapdragon channels.Bring platform-native ideas into social creative/programming meetings.Help translate strategy briefs into tangible post concepts, scripts, shot lists, and production plans.Identify ways to adapt strong ideas across social media channelsContinually enhance understanding of the benefits of our technologyCreator-style storytelling:Help build a reliable bench of internal and external host/creator formats.Coach or support employees appearing on camera when appropriate.Understand what makes social video feel native to the platform.Contribute ideas that make B2C content more approachable, clever, and culturally relevant while preserving brand credibility.Agency & production coordination:Work with agencies, creative studio partners, and creator partners to brief, capture, edit, and deliver social assets.Coordinate production needs, shot lists, deliverables, timelines, and feedback loops.Ensure assets are built for the intended platform and format from the beginning.Support efficient handoff to Operations for QA, approvals, scheduling, and publishing.This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy. This is a U.S. based position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Minimum qualifications:• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. OR Associate's degree and 4+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master's = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.Preferred qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related work experience.A hands-on social content producer with a strong understanding of TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Threads, and creator-style storytelling.Comfortable shooting and editing content quickly, including events, product demos, employee-led content, and partner activations.Understands what makes a post feel native to social channels.Can work collaboratively with strategy leads, operations, agencies, creative partners, and on-camera contributors.
