Public Relations Specialist

Role Description

This is an on-site internship role for a Public Relations Specialist based in New York, NY. The Public Relations Specialist intern will support day-to-day PR activities, including drafting press materials, assisting with media outreach, and maintaining media contact lists. Responsibilities include monitoring media coverage, preparing reports, supporting event coordination, and helping manage social media and other communication channels. The intern will collaborate with team members to develop messaging, brainstorm campaign ideas, and ensure consistent brand representation across all external communications. This role offers hands-on experience in public relations, client support, and agency operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Public Relations and Media Relations.
Candidates should possess skills in Press Releases and Strategic Communications.
Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.
Candidates should have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Candidates with familiarity in social media platforms, basic content creation, or prior internship experience in PR, marketing, or communications are preferred.
Candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
