Transmission Line Design Engineer

Location: Greater Minneapolis, MN | Hybrid

Compensation: $95,000–$160,000+ base, depending on experience

We are partnering with a well-established electric utility organization looking to add a Transmission Line Design Engineer to its growing transmission engineering team.

This is a hands‑on engineering position focused on the design and delivery of overhead transmission line projects . You will work across the project lifecycle, from route development and detailed engineering through construction support and as‑built documentation.

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Civil (preferred) , Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

4+ years of engineering experience within the utility, power or related industry

2+ years of transmission line design experience strongly preferred

Hands‑on experience with PLS-CADD

Experience designing overhead transmission lines at 69kV, 115kV or higher

Understanding of NESC requirements

Bonus Skills:

FE/EIT (PE ideal)
