About Tuck Software Group

Tuck Software Group (TSG) partners with organizations to design and build modern digital experiences that solve real-world business challenges.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Web Designer who specializes in creating custom website designs in Figma and translating those designs into polished, responsive Webflow websites.

This opportunity is ideal for a designer who combines strong visual and UX design skills with hands-on Webflow development expertise. You should be comfortable owning the full website design process, from wireframes and custom Figma designs through Webflow implementation, QA, optimization, and launch.

This is not a template customization or design-only role. We are specifically looking for someone who can create original, professional designs in Figma and accurately bring those experiences to life in Webflow.

What You\'ll Do

As a Senior Web Designer – Webflow, you will:

  • Design custom, visually compelling websites and digital experiences in Figma.
  • Translate client goals, brand guidelines, content, and business requirements into thoughtful website concepts.
  • Create wireframes, page layouts, design systems, reusable components, and high-fidelity responsive designs in Figma.
  • Translate approved Figma designs into production-ready Webflow websites with strong attention to design fidelity.
  • Build responsive experiences that work effectively across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Configure and manage Webflow CMS collections, reusable components, templates, forms, interactions, and page structures.
  • Implement thoughtful animations and interactions that enhance the user experience without compromising usability or performance.
  • Structure websites with SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), accessibility, performance, and discoverability in mind.
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices including semantic page structure, heading hierarchy, metadata, internal linking, image optimization, and technical site fundamentals.
  • Design and structure content to improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search and answer experiences.
  • Collaborate directly with project stakeholders and TSG team members throughout the design and delivery process.
  • Present design concepts, incorporate feedback, and iterate quickly while maintaining design quality and consistency.
  • Support website updates, refinements, and optimization throughout the engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional web design, digital design, UX/UI design, or related experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma and demonstrated experience creating custom website designs from concept through high-fidelity responsive layouts.
  • Strong hands-on experience building production websites in Webflow.
  • Experience translating custom Figma designs into responsive Webflow websites.
  • Portfolio must include live examples of websites specifically built in Webflow and examples demonstrating custom design work created in Figma.
  • Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first web design.
  • Experience with Webflow CMS, components, layouts, interactions, forms, and responsive breakpoints.
  • Strong understanding of modern SEO principles and on-page optimization.
  • Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and how website structure and content can support discoverability across AI-powered search and answer platforms.
  • Understanding of semantic HTML, website accessibility, site performance, and technical web design best practices.
  • Strong understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, spacing, layout, branding, and design systems.
  • Ability to translate business and client requirements into polished digital experiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage assigned projects.
  • Strong communication skills and experience receiving and incorporating stakeholder feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing websites for small businesses, entrepreneurs, professional services organizations, or community-focused organizations.
  • Experience with Webflow custom code and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar website analytics and search tools.
  • Familiarity with structured data/schema markup and technical SEO fundamentals.
  • Understanding of conversion optimization and designing effective calls-to-action and user journeys.
  • Experience optimizing websites for Core Web Vitals and overall site performance.
  • Experience working directly with clients and presenting design concepts.
  • Experience managing multiple website projects or deliverables simultaneously.

Success Characteristics

The ideal candidate:

  • Is a strong visual designer who can create original website experiences rather than relying primarily on templates.
  • Is highly proficient in both Figma and Webflow.
  • Can take ownership of a website from initial concept through production launch.
  • Understands how design, content, SEO, AEO, accessibility, and performance work together to create an effective website.
  • Can translate a client\'s brand and vision into a polished digital experience.
  • Pays close attention to design fidelity across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Understands that great website design should support measurable business objectives, not just aesthetics.
  • Communicates clearly and responds well to feedback.
  • Can work independently while collaborating effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Is comfortable working within defined project timelines and deliverables.

What You\'ll Impact

You will help create professional digital experiences that enable organizations to strengthen their online presence, improve discoverability, communicate their value, and better connect with the customers and communities they serve.

Your work will span strategy, custom design, and implementation, giving you direct ownership over how an idea moves from Figma into a polished, optimized Webflow website.

Why Join TSG?

At Tuck Software Group, you\'ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful digital initiatives while collaborating with experienced technology, product, and design professionals.

We\'re looking for designers who enjoy creating original work, working directly with stakeholders, and having meaningful ownership over the digital experiences they build.
