Graphic Designer — YouTube & Social Media

Abstraction Media is a production company specializing in live production, stand-up comedy content, and digital entertainment. We create high-performing content designed for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and streaming services. Our work blends comedy, storytelling, live events, and internet culture into content that reaches millions of viewers.

We are looking for a highly creative Graphic Designer who understands internet-first content and knows how to design visuals that drive clicks, engagement, and audience growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design high-performing YouTube thumbnails optimized for strong click-through rates (CTR)

Create compelling Instagram cover art and social media graphics

Design promotional materials including:

Comedy show posters

Tour graphics

Event flyers

Digital ads

Channel branding assets

Edit and retouch photos for marketing and promotional use

Collaborate with producers, editors, and creative directors to develop visual concepts

Use AI-powered creative tools to accelerate ideation and production workflows

Maintain consistent branding across multiple shows, comedians, and digital campaigns

Participate in creative brainstorming and thumbnail A/B testing strategies

Stay current on YouTube trends, social media design trends, and audience psychology

REQUIREMENTS

Expert-level understanding of YouTube thumbnail design

Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, typography, color, and audience psychology

Advanced proficiency in:

Adobe Illustrator

Lightroom or equivalent photo editing software

Experience using AI creative tools such as:

Runway

ChatGPT

Other AI-assisted design tools

YouTube thumbnails

Digital marketing assets

Ability to work quickly while maintaining high creative standards

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Deep understanding of internet culture, comedy content, and viral media

BIG PLUS QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in any of the following is a major plus:

Motion graphics

VFX / compositing

Animation

Live event graphics

Cinema or entertainment branding

Knowledge of YouTube analytics and thumbnail performance testing
