This student position is in charge of producing Windy City Thunderbolts games from the WXAV on‑air studios.

Students will produce Windy City Thunderbolts baseball games from the WXAV studios. They will connect WXAV’s remote broadcasting equipment to the field, and oversee the broadcast. They will also play pre‑recording underwriting spots during half‑inning breaks. Must be familiar with the layout of baseball games, and general sports knowledge.
Must be a student at Saint Xavier University
Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter
Experience producing sporting events for WXAV 88.3FM. Knowledge of WXAV’s broadcasting equipment, including but not limited to: on‑air audio console, WideOrbit automation system, Adobe Audition, and TieLine remote broadcasting equipment. Familiarity of baseball and structure of baseball games.
