About AE Ventures
AE Ventures produces the events and media that connect the residential construction, multifamily, luxury home and building technology industries. Our business is built on two engines that feed each other: live events where the industry gathers, and a year-round media operation that publishes the ideas, people and products shaping those markets. Our media side is expanding significantly, moving from content anchored to our events into a continuous, year-round publishing schedule with a clear owner behind every content category.

The Opportunity
We are hiring a Segment Content Producer to own two of our fastest-moving content categories, Multifamily and Luxury, from ideation through publishing. This is not a support role. You will own your segments end to end, and you will own our social platform as a product as well.

You will join a small content team where Multifamily and Luxury are yours, a peer producer owns the New Residential Build categories and our AI editorial product, and a video editor and production lead round out the group. Each producer carries their segments across every channel we publish on and owns one core focus area for strategic growth, which in this case would be our LinkedIn platform.

What You Will Own

Segment content ownership.

Multifamily and Luxury, including the multiple new content streams launching across both over the next year, end to end: editorial series, promotion, whitepapers, expert profiles and sponsored content.

Social platform ownership (your core focus).

LinkedIn is treated as a product, including strategy, sponsored posts, analytics, follower and impression growth goals.

Full-cycle publishing.

Publish your segments across every channel we run: social, newsletters, short-form video, and website.

Ideation and trend tracking.

Follow what is moving in multifamily and luxury, and bring new content ideas and angles forward for your segments.

On-camera and video contribution.

Interviews, host segments, short-form video and at-event capture, working alongside our video editor.

Team collaboration.

Work closely with the content team to keep a year-round, always-flowing publishing schedule.

What Success Looks Like After a Year

Year-round editorial content is ideated, produced and published across the Multifamily and Luxury categories with on-time execution.

Our social following and reach are climbing, with clear growth on LinkedIn and beyond.

Sponsored social posts are executed and performing for our partners.

You are involved across the full content cycle for your segments, from first idea through publishing.

Your segments publish on time across social, newsletters, short-form video and website.

Scorecard metrics:
new social followers, social impressions, and segment content published on time.

What We Are Looking For

2+ years in content production, publishing, editorial, or digital media. Strong candidates coming straight out of a relevant internship or degree program with real published work will be considered. B2B media experience a strong plus.

You can turn a technical or business subject into something a busy industry reader actually wants to watch, listen to, or read about

Hands‑on social platform experience, ideally owning or heavily contributing to a brand account on LinkedIn or YouTube, including reading analytics and acting on them.

Organized and self‑directed. You can hold a publishing calendar and hit dates without being chased.

Curious about industries you do not know yet. Our audiences are homebuilders, multifamily developers, and luxury builders and integrators. You do not need to know these markets on day one, but you do need to want to become an authority on them.

Comfortable in a small team where you own outcomes rather than tasks.

Major Positives

On-screen and on-camera experience.

Broadcast, journalism, hosting, podcasting or interview experience, or simply real comfort in front of a camera. A meaningful share of our growth is video, and we want a producer who can be on camera as well as behind it.

Basic video editing skills.

Ability to cut short‑form video, assemble interview segments, add captions and graphics, and turn long‑form footage into social‑ready clips. Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci or CapCut.

Interviewing chops.

Experience conducting interviews with executives or subject matter experts and shaping them into publishable content.

Event content experience.

Capturing and repurposing content live from conferences or trade shows.

Sponsored content experience.

Producing branded or sponsored content that serves both the partner and the audience.

Base salary of $58,000 to $62,500 depending on experience.

Salary review at the end of the first full fiscal year, then annually, based on merit, responsibility changes and inflation.

Health, dental and vision insurance eligibility after 30 days. AE Ventures pays 50% of individual dental, vision and HMO health premiums, or 40% of family and individual‑plus plans.

Company‑paid life insurance equal to one year of salary.

SIMPLE IRA with company match up to 3% of your contribution, eligible after one year.

15 days PTO per year, rising to 20 days in years 3 through 9 and 25 days at year 10, plus eight company holidays.

All approved business expenses covered, including travel to our events.

Three‑month introductory period with a review at the end for both sides.
