Driving the Scientific Communications function within Medical Affairs, the full-time remote Associate Director, Scientific Communications will optimize communication strategies, manage publication planning, and lead scientific dissemination efforts to support launch readiness and growth.
Key responsibilities
Steer the Scientific Communications plans and develop an integrated strategy aligned with organizational priorities
Lead publication planning and execution, ensuring timely dissemination of scientific evidence in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Coordinate scientific planning for key medical congresses and develop high-quality scientific communications for diverse audiences
Required qualifications
Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, PsyD, or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline
Minimum 8 years of experience in Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, or related functions within the biopharmaceutical industry
Demonstrated experience in leading publication planning and execution, including scientific presentations and congress support
Exceptional scientific writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear communications
Prior leadership experience in Scientific Communications is strongly preferred, with experience in psychiatry or CNS therapeutic areas highly desirable
