Social Media & Marketing CoordinatorThe Social Media & Marketing Coordinator helps drive the day-to-day execution of Bridge Marina's social and digital presence. You'll help create and maintain the content calendar, turn supplied photos, video and information into engaging social content, prepare and schedule posts, monitor our social channels, engage with followers, maintain online boat inventory and support email and other marketing efforts. You'll work across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Business Profiles and other appropriate channels. This role requires both creativity and follow-through.Take primary responsibility for keeping Bridge Marina's social presence engaging, organized, consistent and on schedule. Our team regularly captures photos, videos, boating moments, member and guest experiences, team happenings, events, boats and other raw content. Your job is to turn those assets into content people actually want to see.Content may include:Photos and carouselsInstagram and Facebook StoriesShort-form video and ReelsTikTok contentBehind-the-scenes momentsBoats and boating experiencesMember and guest experiencesTeam momentsEvents and happeningsBoating tips and quick how-to contentSeasonal and real-time contentPromotional contentResponsibilities include:Help develop and maintain our social content calendarReview incoming photos, video, information and content opportunities from our teamIdentify the strongest angles, moments and stories within those assetsTurn raw photos and video into polished, engaging social contentPerform straightforward photo and video editing as neededWrite engaging captions, hooks, headlines and calls to actionSchedule and publish contentMaintain an appropriate posting cadence across platforms - high quantity and high qualityEnsure planned content actually gets completed and published on timeCoordinate content around promotions, seasonal priorities, events and business needsIdentify upcoming gaps in the content calendarProactively work with teammates for the photos, video or information needed to fill those gapsMaintain an organized library of photos, videos and reusable creative assetsCheck scheduled and published content for accuracy, links, formatting and presentationRespond to routine social comments and questionsHelp us make better use of each social platform rather than simply publishing the exact same thing everywhere. You'll adapt the content, copy, format, length and presentation appropriately for channels including:InstagramFacebookTikTokYouTubeLinkedInGoogle Business ProfilesX and ThreadsYou'll work with our marketing and content team to continually improve how Bridge Marina shows up on each platform.Help create the same welcoming, helpful experience online that Bridge Marina works to create in person. Responsibilities include:Regularly monitor comments, tags and mentionsRespond to routine social comments and questionsEngage appropriately with followers and other relevant accountsIdentify and organize useful user-generated contentMonitor relevant boating and local conversationsHelp monitor online reviewsIdentify real-time content and engagement opportunitiesEscalate sensitive customer service, reputation or brand-safety issues when appropriateGood judgment is extremely important. You'll be communicating publicly on behalf of an established brand and should understand when you can respond independently and when something needs additional attention.Help make sure the boats Bridge Marina offers for sale are presented online accurately, attractively and promptly. Responsibilities include:Gather available inventory photos and assets from our sales and on-site teamsSelect, edit and organize listing photographyGather accurate specifications and information from our sales teamWrite clear, appealing boat descriptionsCreate and maintain online boat inventory listingsUpdate pricing, availability and listing details as neededUpdate or remove sold inventory promptlyIdentify listings that would benefit from better photos, descriptions or presentationRequest additional photos or information when neededHelp maintain an organized library of boat and inventory contentGreat social content requires knowing what's happening throughout Bridge Marina. You'll develop strong communication with teammates across our boating club, boat rental, education, sales, service and marina operations so you know what's happening, what may be worth sharing and what assets you need from them. You'll also collaborate closely with our lead content creator and marketing team on larger video projects, campaigns and creative initiatives. We value someone who is comfortable asking questions, requesting what they need, learning about our business and taking initiative rather than waiting for content to simply arrive in a perfectly packaged form.The best teammate for this role combines creativity, organization and accountability. Just as importantly, this person understands that social media requires consistency and volume. You should be comfortable managing a busy content calendar and proactively keeping it filled, with a goal of publishing multiple pieces of quality content each day across our social platforms.
