REMOTE VOLUNTEER VIDEO PRODUCER — youth NONPROFIT
Produce compelling, accessible videos that help Believe in Me explain scholarships, education initiatives, youth programs, community partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and stories of impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Video Producer will guide video projects from concept through delivery for Believe in Me and, when assigned, its programs such as iLevelUP and Cougs 4 Kids. Projects may include brand stories, interviews, explainers, event content, volunteer recruitment, fundraising, training, and social video.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Translate approved goals and source material into concepts, briefs, scripts, storyboards, schedules, and production plans.
Coordinate scriptwriters, interviewers, camera operators, animators, editors, designers, marketers, and program teams.
Record or direct interviews, voiceover, b-roll, event footage, screen recordings, and remote contributions.
Manage releases, consent, youth safeguarding, asset licensing, file organization, and review workflows.
Prepare platform-appropriate edits, aspect ratios, thumbnails, captions, transcripts, audio, and accessible alternatives.
Apply accurate program names, branding, calls to action, and UTM-tagged links.
Deliver organized source files and documentation for future volunteers.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Video production, directing, producing, cinematography, documentary, editing, animation, journalism, marketing, or nonprofit storytelling. Familiarity with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or comparable tools is helpful. A portfolio or relevant samples are requested.
TIME AND LOCATION
Primarily remote and flexible, approximately 2–3 hours per week. Some projects may offer optional Washington-based filming; remote production and editing projects are available.

Your videos will help students, families, volunteers, donors, alumni, educators, and partners understand and support meaningful opportunities. Volunteers receive orientation, approved briefs and assets, brand guidance, collaboration tools, and creative feedback.
