Develop processes and tools to drive standards for commercial marketing excellence by establishing strong relationships with regional marketing teams and their leaders, key customers, and internal regional stakeholders. Create, maintain, and disseminate tools to preserve and enhance knowledge from critical first product launches through launch and availability in all major geographical regions. Devise, support, and enhance enterprise solutions with local use cases for marketing positioning, messaging, customer interaction, and commercial marketing strategy. Serve as a mentor, coach, and source of expertise for global regions when the need arises.

What You'll be Doing

Exert influence on the regional strategies and tactics to ensure the success of the business while embracing distinct regional differences in business operations, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.

Participate in the development of annual regional commercial plans with regional Sales and Marketing leadership.

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the training curriculum and standards for Marketing Strategy to be used by both upstream marketing and downstream regional marketing partners.

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the enterprise platform for converting the warehouse of marketing assets into meaningful, effective messaging via interactive engagement with customers and internal stakeholders.

Democratize the access to corporate assets, tools, and KOL networks and relationships.

Travel to regional offices and customer sites to establish a brand that represents reliability, delivery of results, creative problem solving, and trustworthiness.

Understand and comply with regional legal and compliance policies related to conduct of business.

Create an Enterprise Knowledge Base for Product Launch that can be leveraged by each region to ensure the highest possibility of new product launch success.

Facilitate and nurture the development of regional marketing associates’ networks within the corporate organization and with other regions.

Serve as a source of expertise for regional commercial models, dynamics, opportunities, and limitations for the corporate organization.

Play an advisory role in the creation of individual development plans for high potential marketing talent in the regions.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of six (6) years of experience with medical device marketing strategy and execution.

A minimum of one (1) year of management experience.

Medical device marketing experience in domestic and international markets.

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Excellent computer skills and working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, iPad applications and customer databases.

Medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience a plus

International experience considered a plus

Experience with upstream marketing activities for interventional medical devices/procedures, particularly in the neurovascular industry, a plus
