Student Graphic Designer – Fall 2026Hiring Department: Office of the Vice President for Student ExperiencePosition Open To: All ApplicantsWeekly Scheduled Hours: 15FLSA Status: Non-Exempt from FLSAEarliest Start Date: Aug 25, 2026Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until May 16, 2027Location: UT Main CampusPurpose: Student Graphic Designer assists the communications team with digital and print design for web, social, print collateral and promotional items for Student Life and all the units within. Student Graphic Designer works in a fast-paced and changing environment and manage a variety of projects while gaining valuable experience and creating work to add to their portfolios.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage design projects assigned by the Comms Team through completion (ready to post or packaged to print)Maintain University brand standards and individual consistency for different audiences, units and projectsRespond appropriately to design feedback, offer suggestions and find solutions for functional designQualifications:Design experience with a portfolio of workFull or part-time undergraduate student currently enrolled in a degree program in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field (or have a strong interest in these areas)Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, receptiveness to feedback and the ability to produce results with limited supervisionRequired Materials:Resume/CV3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisorLetter of interest
