Job Description
Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support business objectives of the firm.
Oversee the creation of content across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
Lead communications team including multiple direct reports and manage external agency relationship.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Manage external communication efforts, including public relations and media outreach.
Analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans as needed.
Act as a key advisor on communication strategies to senior leadership.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and industry partners.
Ensure all communications comply with company policies and standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of Strategic Communications should have:
10+ years of experience in communications within a law firm, consulting or professional services environment. Law firm experience is preferred.
5+ years of experience managing a communications team.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing communications and branding strategies for complex organizations and sophisticated brands.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including ability to influence, build trust and connectivity across all levels of an organization.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Strong professional relationships with media outlets, PR agencies and relevant contacts within the industry.
Proficiency with business platforms including Microsoft Office, CRM, project management software, social media tools, analytics and AI-enabled tools.
What's On Offer
Annual salary range = $250,000 - $275,000 plus discretionary bonus
