A Web Analyst position just opened up atJPL/NASAinPasadena, CA. In this role you will be to responsible to oversee technical performance, Section 508 compliance, search rankings, and content freshness across web properties.

Location: Pasadena, CA 91109 (Local candidates, once a week onsite; for non local, remote)
Position: Part TimeWeb Analyst
Pay Rate: $40 – 75/hr DOE
Duration: 12 months
Schedule: 1st shift, Flexible; Part Time, As Needed

Role Overview

We are seeking a Web Analyst to oversee technical performance, Section 508 compliance, search rankings, and content freshness across our web properties. The Web Analyst will lead an initial comprehensive review, create checklists for new publishing workflows, and run a quarterly maintenance cadence.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO & AI Attribution: Conduct competitive keyword research, optimize search visibility, and track brand presence/citations across AI search engines and discovery platforms.


• Content Analytics: Evaluate user engagement data to surface top-performing assets and inventory “last updated” dates to flag stale, decaying content for updates.


• Cadence & Processes: Lead the initial review, establish operational publishing checklists, and manage ongoing quarterly reviews.


• Technical & 508 Audits: Run comprehensive site crawls to detect broken links, page speed bottlenecks, and indexation issues; audit for Section 508/WCAG accessibility compliance.

Required Skills

• Experience in technical SEO, web analytics, and digital quality control.


• Proficiency with content management systems (Wagtail, WordPress).


• Proficiency with Section 508 compliance (a11y), technical web performance, and AI attribution.


• Experience creating operational or publishing workflows.


• Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4).

Desired Skills

• Experience working in aerospace, government, or regulated industries.


• Proficiency with Screaming Frog, SEMrush, and Parse.ly.
