Emergency Communications Specialist

City of Alvin seeks a communications dispatcher for the Police Department. Under direct supervision, you will receive, record and assign calls, monitor radio, greet visitors, and coordinate with police, fire, EMS and city services.
You must exercise independent judgment and follow detailed instructions to meet standards. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and completion of required state training and licensing within the first year.
