To support a national team delivering diverse residential and commercial design services, the full-time Designer II will produce high-quality construction documentation using CAD/BIM software, while collaborating with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and CAD Technicians in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
Prepare complex architectural and engineering construction drawings utilizing AutoCAD Architecture and/or Revit
Maintain regular communication with the Project Management team regarding project status and quality control procedures
Mentor junior Designers and CAD/BIM Technicians on architectural design and technical software
Required qualifications
B.S. in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field, or significant drafting experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in producing residential and/or commercial construction documentation
Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture and Revit is required
Knowledge of construction techniques, building codes, and CAD concepts
Familiarity with 3D modeling software and graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus
