Contract Video ProducerWe are seeking an experienced Contract Video Producer to lead the planning, production, and delivery of video content for live events and B2B brand activations. This role will manage video projects from initial brief through final delivery, ensuring creative intent, production quality, timelines, and budgets are effectively managed.The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, solutions-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced video and event production environment where priorities and requirements can evolve quickly.Production & Project ManagementOwn video production projects from kickoff through final delivery.Translate creative concepts, client objectives, and production requirements into actionable plans.Develop and maintain production schedules, budgets, shot lists, crew plans, and delivery timelines.Coordinate pre-production, production, and post-production activities.Identify production risks and proactively develop contingency plans.Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines simultaneously.Ensure all deliverables meet agreed-upon creative, technical, and quality standards.Crew & Vendor ManagementManage crew logistics, schedules, call sheets, equipment needs, and production requirements.Serve as the primary production point of contact for external partners.Ensure vendors understand project scope, expectations, timelines, and deliverables.Review vendor estimates and invoices and monitor production costs against budget.Event & On-Site ProductionLead video production activities on-site at live events, conferences, and corporate experiences.Coordinate camera crews, interviews, b-roll, live-event capture, and other video needs.Work closely with event producers, creative teams, technical teams, and client stakeholders.Troubleshoot production issues quickly and calmly in a live environment.Ensure footage is captured with the appropriate framing, resolution, audio, lighting, and technical specifications for intended deliverables.Manage footage handoff, organization, backups, and transfer requirements.Post-ProductionCoordinate editorial workflows from footage ingest through final delivery.Manage editors and other post-production resources as needed.Establish clear editorial briefs, timelines, review processes, and feedback cycles.Coordinate client and internal review rounds and consolidate feedback.Ensure final assets meet required specifications and are delivered on time.Understand video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, resolution, audio requirements, captions, and digital delivery specifications.Collaboration & Client ManagementPartner with Creative, Client Services, Producers, Technical, and other teams to align video production with the overall event strategy and experience.Participate in creative and production discussions and provide practical video-production expertise.Communicate production status, risks, decisions, and next steps clearly.Manage expectations with diplomacy while maintaining production standards and timelines.Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and the overall production approach.The ideal candidate is a hands-on producer who can move comfortably between creative, production, and project management. They know how to turn a creative idea into a practical production plan, understand what it takes to execute high-quality video in a live event environment, and can confidently manage the details without losing sight of the bigger picture.They are proactive, resourceful, highly organized, and diplomatic. They can influence decisions without creating friction, navigate competing priorities, and keep teams moving toward a successful outcome.Contract/freelance engagement based on project needs. Availability may include pre-production, event-site production, and post-production periods. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required by event schedules. Compensation commensurate with experience and project scope.
