We're looking for a creative, detaildriven Videographer/Photographer (Marketing Aide) with strong video production skills to help bring our programs, events, parks, and people to life through highquality visual content. This role blends handson videography with meaningful marketing support, making it perfect for someone who enjoys both creating and collaborating.
What You'll Do
Produce standout visual content, including videos, photography, and creative digital collateral using professional camera and editing equipment.
Document Parks, Recreation & Culture programs, many of which happening on evenings and weekend.
Transform ideas into polished videos, social media clips, and digital materials aligned with our City and Parks, Recreation & Culture brand.
Support our social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and similar platforms through engaging visual storytelling.
Collaborate with teammates to develop promotional concepts, coordinate projects, and help ensure marketing initiatives move forward smoothly and on time.
Conduct light market research, identify trends, and share insights that strengthen our outreach efforts.
What You Bring
Strong videography skills, including filming, editing and producing polished visual content.
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and familiarity with other editing platforms.
Experience operating digital cameras, video equipment, and audiovisual tools.
High attention to detail and strong editing abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects, stay organized, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Comfort with social media trends, video forward content styles, and creative digital engagement.
A collaborative spirit and ability to build positive relationships with teammates and the public.
Education & Experience
Two years of college coursework in videography, photography marketing, or a related field, plus two years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Videography experience preferred.
Experience with municipal Parks & Recreation is a plus but not required.
Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with a good driving record.
