POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Operations Technology plays a critical program management role in managing the implementation and continuous improvement of fleet technology to improve operations and business benefits. This position is focused on supporting an 85% uptime goal by coordinating the different functions of the program, aligning cross-functional teams, and managing key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational performance and continuous improvement.
The role focuses on coordinating technological operations with the business needs of the program while ensuring compliance with internal organizational standards. The incumbent supports a core and foundational component of the company’s future-state roadmap and acts as a team leader to support efforts to integrate and execute operational technology and process-based solutions.
This position manages and develops a team of two direct reports while providing leadership, guidance, and coordination across cross-functional teams and key stakeholders.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Leads program management activities supporting fleet technology initiatives and the organization’s 85% uptime goal.
Coordinates the different functions of the program to ensure alignment across technology, operations, implementation, and other key stakeholders.
Establishes, monitors, and manages key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program performance, identify trends, and drive operational improvements.
Leads coordination of program and product development. Leads and supports the pre-planning, deployment, and ongoing adoption of fleet technologies and processes across the field organization.
Oversees implementation and deployment of cutting-edge fleet technology. Works to anticipate deployment issues and develop mitigation options.
Manages, coaches, and develops a team of two direct reports to support their development and attainment of necessary skills to improve performance. Monitors staff performance, drives performance improvement initiatives, and ensures that service levels meet or exceed agreed-upon standards.
Manages and provides technical expertise, guidance, and leadership to the Implementation team and other key stakeholders.
Oversees planning and development of field-related training materials and ensures all training aids and learning solutions remain relevant with technology and program changes. Responsible for developing change management strategies and communications.
Serves as a key project and program lead, providing updates to cross-functional teams, leadership, and the field to ensure alignment across the organization on key project goals, KPIs, and deliverables.
Monitors performance and deployment execution and proactively develops recommendations for improvements and efficiencies related to process and programmatic changes.
Manages vendor relations and engages in industry networking to uncover new technologies and foster relationships.
Collaborates on new technology pilots and builds business cases around proven technology aimed at driving operational business benefits.
Performs other non-essential duties as assigned or as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS

Demonstrated business acumen, strategic thinking, and an ability to execute against formulated strategy.
Demonstrated ability to lead program and change initiatives.
Ability to manage, lead, and develop a results-driven team.
Knowledge of technical product development, technology deployments, and fleet implementations.
Experience managing KPIs and using performance data to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
Ability to understand and solve complex business challenges and their interrelations across various business functions.
Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team and ability to lead, influence, and motivate others.
Effective planning and prioritizing multiple cross-functional projects and program activities.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

4-7 years of overall relevant work experience.
Experience as a Project or Program Manager.
