We are seeking an experienced Strategic Communications Program Manager to support across the Environment and Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) portfolio, which includes environment, labor and human rights, and community investment. This role is critical in amplifying Apple's story and work to uphold our values across our business and supply chain.In this role, you will support the development of internal and external communications strategies, as well as serve as the primary writer for key deliverables. You will manage, support, and execute projects that include strategy development, content development (e.g. briefings, speeches, talking points), copywriting for campaigns and associated collateral, event processes and execution, executive visibility and principal advance responsibilities, cross-functional initiatives, and special projects. You will also coordinate with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to drive results. You should be self-motivated, an amazing collaborator, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, flexible, and adaptable.ResponsibilitiesSupport the development of internal and external engagement and communications strategies to speak to a range of audiences including customers, employees, media, and influencersDevelop strategies and materials including talking points, executive briefings, multi-stakeholder briefings, presentations, memos, and impact reports for a range of projects and initiativesManage the processes, coordination, and development of materials related to internal and external events, domestic and international trips, and special projectsServe as the primary writer in developing messaging for programs across the ESCI portfolioCoordinate with global colleagues in Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Internal Communications, Government Affairs, Retail, Services, Sales, Product Marketing, Values teams, and other relevant teams across the business to drive outcomesMinimum Qualifications7+ years of relevant experience in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or related area (degree in one of these areas preferred)Advanced experience in developing messaging and refining written content across channelsPreferred QualificationsWorld-class written and oral communication skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to support the simultaneous development of multiple projectsExperience and comfort working closely with senior executivesEffective collaborator capable of working across teams and geographiesAbility to quickly analyze information and pivot as necessaryAbility to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment under dynamic timelinesSelf-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skillsExperience working with designers and creatives in content developmentTechnologically savvy, familiar with creative software and content management systemsBachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,100 and $224,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
