Photographer & Multimedia Producer

Cloth & Paper | Richmond, VA (Fully On-Site)

Compensation: $45,000 – $55,000/year

Join Cloth & Paper, a leader in luxury planning and stationery, as we continue to bring our brand to life through beautiful, intentional imagery. We're looking for a Photographer & Multimedia Producer to be the eye behind our product photography, video content, and livestreams, someone who can pick up a camera and immediately understand what "looks like Cloth & Paper."

About the Role
This is a hands-on, in-house creative role. You'll be behind the lens for the majority of our product photography, building the visual library that shows up across our site, social, and marketplaces. Alongside stills, you'll produce ecommerce video content, support our weekly livestreams with equipment and technical set-up, and assist with our YouTube content. You'll work closely with our Creative Lead and collaborate with photo and video editors to keep everything moving on schedule.

Responsibilities
Photography

Capture high-quality product photography as your primary focus, with occasional events and other creative needs

Enhance subjects using natural and artificial lighting techniques

Edit, crop, and retouch images using Adobe Creative Suite

Video & Livestream Production

Plan and produce ecommerce video content and social platform video

Support weekly livestream production with equipment and technical set-up

Assist with YouTube content, including gear set-up and media handling

Coordinate with marketing team and editors to ensure imagery supports a unified message

Partner with the Creative Lead to align schedules and deadlines

Collaborate with photo and video editors to hit deadlines

Keep equipment in proper working order and supplies stocked

About You

Strong photographer first, with a technical foundation in lighting, composition, and product photography

A natural instinct for the Cloth & Paper aesthetic, you can run with visual direction without needing every detail spelled out

Video experience alongside your photography background

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with an eye for building efficient, streamlined editing workflows

Some professional experience, while still eager to grow and be shaped by the role

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Requirements

Professional experience in photography (product photography and videography experience strongly preferred)

Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and/or comparable photo/video editing software

Technologically savvy with reliable home workspace and high-speed internet

Able to work in our Richmond, VA office full-time

In addition to other forms of compensation, such as perks and benefits, the estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 – $55,000/year. The final offer will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skill set, experience, geographical location, market conditions, and other organizational needs.
