TrueNorth is seeking an

Account Specialist

to join our

Personal Lines

team in Denver, CO; Rosemont, IL; West Des Moines, IA; or Cedar Rapids, IA. This role provides support across Personal Lines account management and the administration of life and health insurance products, helping deliver exceptional service to clients and internal stakeholders.

Essential Job Functions:

Update client management and carrier systems as needed, entering quotes and processing endorsements and mortgagee changes

Follow-up with clients on incomplete applications and change forms

Complete any special projects assigned by the expected deadline

Increase industry and job knowledge as measured by attendance at continuing education, attaining, or updating designations, and participation in other agency training offerings

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, both internal and external

Meet new and renewal or project deadlines as set between you and your Leader

Organize time in advance so all work and projects are completed on time and with appropriate content and organization

Demonstrate the ability to expand knowledge by assuming new responsibilities in the department or working on department projects

Maintain confidentiality of client and company information

Attend market or client discovery meetings, planning workshops, client progress meetings and/or stewardship meetings

Review incoming applications and changes received via email, phone, fax, or mail and completed accurately and timely where applicable

Input applications and change information into client management systems on a timely basis where applicable

Credentials:

High School diploma or GED required, two or four-year degree preferred

Property and Casualty license preferred

Experience in the insurance industry is preferred

One year of customer service experience is preferred

Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic PowerPoint functions

Ability to obtain P&C license within 30 days of employment if not already licensed

Illinois and Colorado Hiring Range : This is a non-exempt position with a pay range of $22/hr - $24/hr and a potential bonus of 6%. Compensation will depend on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
