Role Description
The Marketing Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Lime Springs, IA, responsible for supporting and executing day-to-day marketing activities. This role develops and coordinates marketing and branding campaigns that promote Upper Iowa Beef’s brands, products, and values across digital and traditional channels. Daily tasks include assisting with content creation and writing for social media, email, and print materials; coordinating sustainability efforts and promotional initiatives; and supporting event planning for community and industry events. The Marketing Coordinator also helps manage project timelines, organizes marketing assets, tracks performance, and collaborates with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging. This position works closely with leadership and sales to maintain strong communication and alignment between marketing efforts and business goals. Internal communication and bridging the gap between producers and our team is also an important part of the Marketing coordinator role.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, such as supporting promotional efforts, understanding customer needs, and assisting with lead generation and follow-up.

Candidates should possess Event Planning skills, including organizing logistics, coordinating vendors, and supporting community and industry events.

Candidates should possess Writing skills for marketing content, including social media posts, email newsletters, and basic copywriting for print and digital materials.

Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including organizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple marketing and sustainability initiatives simultaneously.

Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with basic digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, email marketing software, Adobe applications, etc.), attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Experience in agriculture, food production, or a related industry is a plus, as is prior experience in a marketing or coordination role.

An associate or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, is preferred.

If you are currently a college student and will be graduating in December of 2026 or May of 2027, we are willing to work out a delayed start date until you complete your schooling.
