Part-Time News Production Assistant

WXXV-TV, a Morris Multimedia station, has an immediate opening for the position of part-time news production assistant. Responsibilities include:
Editing video for daily newscasts
Creating graphics for broadcast
Assisting with audio and video playback in the control room
Operating studio equipment and production systems
Supporting all aspects of news gathering and production
Learning and mastering multiple areas of broadcast operations
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail
Ability to perform well under pressure during live broadcasts
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Dependable work ethic and reliable attendance
Ability to follow detailed instructions
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Interest in news, current events, and broadcasting
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous television or media experience
Coursework or degree pursuit in Broadcasting, Communications, Journalism, Media Production, or a related field
