Emphasis on relationship growth and exceeding client expectations. The Trust Client Relationship Manager will possess a full understanding of the client/family relationships and will work closely with the Portfolio Manager and other team members to serve the client. The number or complexity of the relationships managed are generally fewer and less complex than those of a Trust Administrator. Consults with trust administrators or Chief Fiduciary Officer on more complex trust scenarios.Essential FunctionsServe as the main point of contact for trust clients with the ability to interact with internal team members to take ownership and provide prompt resolutions on administrative and account specific activitiesMonitor and review account retentionParticipate in client meetings to ensure that all administrative aspects of the relationship are reviewed at least annually to include but not limited to beneficiary designations, Required Minimum Distributions, proper titling of accounts and other general account maintenanceEnsure that client accounts are administered in accordance with the governing instrument, state laws and FineMark National Bank & Trust's policies, procedures, and processesDocument client communications on contact management system and coordinate proactive communicationParticipate in and monitors financial planning processDeliver exceptional service to all trust clients and help to facilitate new business efforts by working with the New Business Administrator, new account specialist and the client to ensure a successful onboardingReview annual RMD letters, 1099R tax forms and 5498 tax forms before mailed to clientsTrain new associates as needed and ensure timely completion of Trust Account ReviewsPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredKnowledge of the following trust areas: operational efficiency, productivity, internal controls, compliance and process improvementAbility to maintain a valid driver's license and meet Commerce Bank's driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirementsMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesIntermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and OutlookEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred5+ years' experience providing transactional banking services to clients, or administrative/operational support to trust administration requiredTrust/asset management/private banking institution experience preferredExperience with Trust Desk platform preferredFor this position, Commerce Bank will review your motor vehicle driving record.
