Production Planning SupervisorEaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Production Planning Supervisor. This role is located at our Jonesville, SC facility. No relocation assistance will be provided.The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:The Production Planning Supervisor will be responsible for internal plant supply chain activities and will drive materials management best practices to achieve the sales and production schedules, meet customer requirements, align plant capacity, optimize the utilization of the workforce, and minimize manufacturing costs by assisting in cycle count, physical inventory processes, and internal materials replenishment strategy to meet inventory DOH and excess & obsolete management targets.In this role you will:Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinate purchasing needs, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous process improvements to optimize inventory levels, customer delivery requirements, and operational efficiency.Engage the production plan of the various materials, parts and subassemblies required by the plant. Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to mitigate material shortagesMaintain and coordinate activities to ensure vital plant metrics, including but not limited to; customer on-time delivery, backlog, days on hand inventory and past due workorders/schedulesLeverage the annual and monthly operating plans to determine appropriate objectives and performance expectations for the materials management teamWork collaboratively with other leaders to effectively meet Supply Chain Team goals and objectivesLead production planning team in executing the master production schedule and related supply chain activities, including CTB process and a weekly production planLead annual physical inventory activities to ensure a successful and accurate inventory auditTrain and educate the planning team on the use of supply chain management techniques, various business systems, varieties of reports and other relatedQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environmentFive (5) years of experience in production planning, master scheduling or other Supply Chain related areas within a manufacturing environment.Five (5) years of experience in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or scheduling modulesTwo (2) years of experience in a leadership roleEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Preferred Qualifications:Master of Science degree in engineering, supply chain, or operations from an accredited institutionAPICS CSCP or CPIM certificationExperience with shop floor inventory control or manufacturing operations optimizationDemonstrated knowledge of institutional problem-solving tools/processes such as cycle time reduction and process improvement tools: six sigma DMAIC methodology, kaizen, DOE, pareto charts, statistical process control, process mapping, tree diagrams and root cause analysisExperience with using Microsoft Office Suite.
