Job Overview
The eCommerce Specialist will drive revenue growth and operational excellence across our third-party (3P) marketplace channels while maintaining high financial precision. In this role, you will manage day-to-day marketplace operations, optimize product performance, and closely support first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) eCommerce budget tracking to maximize ROI and support our overall digital growth strategy.

Job Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
Third-Party (3P) Management

Own daily operations across active 3P marketplaces (such as Instacart, DoorDash, UberEats, Shipt, and Amazon)
Manage product catalog health, including updating pricing, optimizing product content, managing inventory flow, and resolving listing suppression or account health issues
Launch and scale new products on 3P platforms, managing everything from initial listing creation to setting up promotional campaigns
Collaborate closely with marketplace vendor partners to execute Cub strategies

Financial & Budget Tracking (1P & 3P)
Track and reconcile eCommerce budgets across both 1P (cub.com) and 3P channels, ensuring expenditures align with period targets
Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting process by reviewing historical data and projecting sales and expenses.

Analytics & Performance Reporting
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) – such as sales, margin, conversion, and ROAS
Prepare weekly and period performance dashboards for leadership, translating raw sales and budget data into actionable business insights
Keep a pulse on marketplace trends, competitor pricing, and platform algorithm changes to keep our brands competitive and profitable.

Job Requirements
Education/ Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, economics, or related field preferred.

Experience
1-3 years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace, marketing, or merchandising experience preferred
Demonstrated experience managing or tracking budgets, processing financial reports, or working closely with financial data preferred
Familiarity with retail P&L metrics required
Computer knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office programs required
Experience with eCommerce platforms preferred (Instacart, DoorDash, UberEats, Amazon, etc.) a strong plus

Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities
Strong analytical mindset: The ability to look at sales figures, fees, and promotion spend, identify trends, and translate raw data into actionable insights
High attention to detail: Essential for catching budget discrepancies, auditing channel fees, and maintaining clean product listings.
Excellent cross-functional collaborator: Ability to work smoothly with operations, merchandising, IT, marketing, finance, and external vendors/ agencies
Adaptability to problem-solving: comfortable navigating the ever-changing policies, algorithms, and technical glitches common to third party marketplaces
Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Work Environment
Hybrid Role:
This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office 3 days per week. The acceptable split between onsite and remote work is determined by the manager. Hybrid associates may choose to work from an office on a more frequent basis than required.

Travel (minor): This position may require the associate to travel to company offices, distribution centers, or other locations for specific meetings or other business reasons.

Physical Environment/Demands
Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday.
Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in the completion of job duties.

UNFI anticipates paying the above-referenced pay rate (or within the above-referenced pay range) for this position. Actual Pay, where applicable, will depend on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, training, and any requirements under applicable collective bargaining agreements.
