Role Description
The Social Media Marketing Intern is a part-time, on-site role based in Troy, NY at Ilium Brewing Co. We are looking to build a dedicated and creative team of interns who can help capture, create, and promote content that highlights Ilium’s food, drinks, events, atmosphere, and community.

The intern will support social media content creation across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Responsibilities include filming short-form video content, assisting with video production, taking photos, creating reels and TikToks, writing captions, helping promote upcoming events, and contributing creative ideas for social media campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, nightlife, food, drinks, events, and digital content creation. The intern will work closely with the Ilium team to create engaging content that reflects the energy of the brand and helps grow Ilium’s online presence.

Internship credit may be available depending on school requirements. This role is compensated per approved video or post, with the possibility of future part-time employment.

Responsibilities

Capture photo and video content of Ilium’s food, drinks, events, staff, guests, and atmosphere.

Create short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other social media platforms.

Assist with video production, filming, editing, and promotional content.

Help promote weekly events, specials, brunch, DJ nights, live music, trivia, and seasonal campaigns.

Write engaging captions and help maintain Ilium’s brand voice.

Collaborate with the team to develop creative content ideas and marketing strategies.

Support social media posting, engagement, and basic performance tracking.

Attend select events to capture real-time content.

Help identify trends, sounds, and content ideas that fit Ilium’s audience.

Contribute to a creative and consistent social media presence for the brand.
